2013 NAOSH Week Champions

Each year during the PDC, ASSE acknowledges members who helped to promote NAOSH Week and Occupational Safety and Health Professional Day. This year, three individuals were recognized for their efforts with the NAOSH Week Champion Award.


Catherine Benjamin is an EHS engineer at Gentex Optics Inc. She was a big contributor and sponsor in the NAOSH Safety on the Job kids poster contest. She held a rally at each school and recognized every child that she sponsored in the poster contest. Benjamin is from the Worcester County Chapter.





Phil Goldsmith CSP, ARM, is deputy chief of risk management at the National Gallery of Art. During the NAOSH Kick-Off events, Goldsmith gave participants a tour of the National Gallery of Art. He is from the National Capital Chapter.





Mike Wolf is senior ESH manager at Exelis Information Systems Division. He used his leadership skills to assemble the Chesapeake and the National Capital chapters to support NAOSH Kick-Off events. Wolf is a member and past president of the Chesapeake Chapter.
