ASSE Accepting Entries for Kids’ Poster Contest

Kids, get your pencils sharpened because ASSE’s 11th Annual Safety-on-the-Job kids’ poster contest is in full swing. Children ages 5 to 14 from around the world are encouraged to submit their artwork to ASSE. The contest serves as a reminder that children need to know about the importance of safety and the occupational SH&E profession. Submissions are due Feb. 14, 2013, and winners will be selected based on which posters best illustrate the importance of staying safe at work. Prizes are awarded for first through fourth place in each age group; first-place posters will be featured on the official NAOSH Week 2013 poster and on ASSE’s website. Winning posters from previous years have also been featured on billboards.

The contest is part of ASSE’s commemoration of NAOSH Week, which takes place each year during the first week of May. Visit the NAOSH Week website for more information.
