ASSE Foundation: Success in Atlanta

Safety 2016 delivered hundreds of educational sessions, hosted countless networking events and honored deserving award recipients in Atlanta, GA. For ASSE Foundation (ASSEF), the conference was hugely successful in a different way. Each year, the event offers a unique opportunity not only to raise funds for the Foundation’s programs, but also to recognize individuals and groups that have helped ASSEF advance its mission to provide educational advancement, leadership development and research opportunities to advance the OSH profession. Following is a recap of the Foundation’s results from this year’s conference:

Golf Outing

More than 100 golfers attended the ASSEF Safety Matters Golf Outing at Stone Mountain Golf Club. The outing was a resounding success, raising more than $19,000 for Safety Matters, the Foundation’s signature fund.
