ASSE India Chapter Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

In conjunction with the 43rd National Safety Day in India, ASSE’s India Chapter celebrated its second anniversary. About 50 professionals attended the event hosted by the chapter and Safety Engineers’ Association (SEA) India at Toubro Hall Convention Centre at the L&T Manapakkam Campus. The safety day included four technical sessions covering stress, hazard identification and risk assessment in the construction industry, and best practices at Chennai Metro Rail Limited.

In addition, ASSE will host its first Safety India 2014, a professional development conference and exposition scheduled for May 26-27 in Chennai, India. Conference attendees will learn from industry experts, network with hundreds of SH&E professionals from around the globe, and gain ideas for improving workplace safety with the latest products and services available.
