ASSE Michigan Chapters Sign Alliance With State OSHA

Michigan OSHA (MIOSHA) and ASSE’s West Michigan, Lansing and Greater Detroit chapters have renewed their alliance to provide support and best practices to create safer and healthier workplaces throughout the state. The partnership builds on the relationship between the organizations to develop and distribute safety and health information that helps to protect Michigan workers.

The alliance aims to:

  • Increase awareness of MIOSH and its Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division.
  • Involve chapter member firms with consultation/hazard surveys offered by MIOSHA CET consultants.
  • Increase MIOSHA and the alliance coverage in chapter publications.
  • Enhance communication and cooperation between chapter members and MIOSHA to improve program delivery and understanding.
