Flooding in Midwest Affects ASSE Headquarters

According to a recent Chicago Tribune report, during the month of April, Illinois received a record high of rainfall—8.54 in. (as of April 25, 2013). This beats a previous record of 8.33 in. in April of 1947. Many areas of Illinois saw massive flooding that caused evacuations, sand bagging and businesses temporarily closing, including ASSE headquarters. The office was forced to close April 18-19 due to excessive flooding surrounding the building and throughout Des Plaines. The water level did not reach inside the building, but the surrounding streets and parking lot were affected.
