Four ASSE Members Receive Distinguished Service to Safety Awards

National Safety Council (NSC) recognized four ASSE members for their contributions to the field of safety by awarding them with the Distinguished Service to Safety Award, NSC’s most prestigious award.

According to NSC, to be eligible for the award, candidates must have had a sustained impact on the safety movement at the local, national or international level that resulted in increased injury prevention. This may also include advancement of safety theory and research, NSC says.

The ASSE members who received the award this year are:

NSC began presenting the Distinguished Service to Safety Award 75 years ago as a way to recognize the individuals and companies who significantly supported U.S. workers during World War II by reducing occupational injuries.
