Give Back to San Antonio During Safety 2018

During the week of Safety 2018, ASSE is giving members an opportunity to “pay it forward” through community service programs.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Texas

With a donation of $25 or more to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Texas (SJRC), you can help children who have been victims of abuse, neglect or trauma to experience a family living environment or self-sufficiency. SJRC kits include hygiene products and toys. A charitable tax deduction receipt will be mailed after the conference.

Soldiers’ Angels

A donation to Soldiers’ Angels provides aid to homeless veterans of the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Embracing the motto, “May No Soldier Go Unloved,” the volunteers of Soldiers’ Angels help veterans and their families, as well as wounded and deployed personnel. Soldiers’ Angels kits will include hygiene items. A charitable tax deduction receipt will be available on site.

Your donation of $25 or more will go toward purchasing items for kits for SJRC or Soldiers’ Angels. ASSE is hosting a kit assembly event with items purchased using your generous donations at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center during the following times:

Sunday, June 3 | 1:00PM – 5:00PM

Monday, June 4 | 10:00AM – 5:00PM

Tuesday, June 5 | 10:00AM – 3:00PM

Sign up to donate or volunteer by selecting your preferred time slot under “Step 7- Events” when you register for the conference at https://safety.asse.org/registration. It is optional to volunteer, however, help assembling the kits is appreciated if you have time to spare during the kit assembly time slots.
