The conference offered 79 training seminars, as well as a networking social and day-long business exposition. The exposition was the largest in the conference’s 28-year history.

Founded in 1988, the conference was cosponsored by the Chicago Local Section of AIHA, AHMP’s Chicago Chapter, ASSE’s Greater Chicago, Northeastern Illinois and Three Rivers chapters.

The keynote address was delivered by National Safety Council’s Director of Consulting and Training Services and retired military officer Wes Scott.

Those who attended the conference can access each speaker’s presentation slides on the event’s website.

Planning for next year’s conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 18-21, 2017 in the same location, will begin in January. Ideas for next year’s seminar topics can be emailed to Kenneth Orms no later than Jan. 2.
