Members Receive Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service Award

The Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service Award recognizes ASSE Board members, committee members or practice specialty officers who have provided outstanding volunteer service to the Society in the past year. This year’s recipients are: G. Alan Brown, Paul A. Esposito, Kenneth J. Daigle, Joel N. Tietjens, Pamela J. Walaski and David L. Walline.

AlanBrownG. Alan Brown, CSP, CPEA, industrial health coordinator at Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA Inc., is the Vice President of Region III. Through this role, he has helped lead and support the Chapter Leaders in activities & accomplishments, including: the annual Region Future Safety Leaders Conference, the annual Region Professional Development Conference, and the recent start-up of the Energy Corridor Section.

Paul A. Esposito, CSP, CIH, president of Star Consultants, is a member of the Risk Assessment Committee. He also teaches ASSE seminars, and has been instrumental in the development of the Risk Assessment Certificate Program.

 

 

 

KenDaigleKenneth J. Daigle, P.E., director of safety for BP, is a member of the Risk Assessment Committee. Daigle played a key role in the creation of the Risk Assessment Certificate program.

 

 

 

JoelTietjensJoel N. Tietjens, CSP, CSHM, president of T-JENS & T-JENS Inc., is a member of the Council on Professional Development. His insight in the planning and development of programs has contributed significantly to the council’s efforts and success.

 

 

 

Pam Walaski-LowRESPamela J. Walaski, CSP, CHMM, director of safety and health at GAI Consultants Inc., is Administrator of the Consultants Practice Specialty and Vice-Chair of the Council on Practices and Standards. Walaski is also an author and editor of the recently published Consultants Business Development Guide.

 

 

 

DaveWallineDavid L. Walline, CSP, president of Walline Consulting Ltd., is Chair of the Risk Assessment Committee. His leadership helped shape ASSE’s Risk Assessment Institute.
