NAOSH Week Kids’ Poster Contest Entries Due Feb. 14

ASSE’s NAOSH Week Kids’ Safety-on-the-Job poster contest entries are due Feb. 14, 2013. In conjunction with NAOSH Week 2013, the poster contest is an opportunity to teach kids about the importance of workplace safety. Contest rules include:

  • All posters must be submitted with a completed official ASSE entry form.
  • The art must illustrate the theme of “safety on the job.”
  • Only one entry per child is allowed.
  • The participant’s name or contact information must not be on the front of the poster.
  • Only crayons, markers, pencils and paints can be used. Computer-generated drawings will not be considered.
  • Each poster must be completed by the child with no outside assistance.
  • Only original artwork will be accepted.
  • Poster size should be no larger than 11×14 in.

Sponsored by SafeStart, the contest is open to children ages 5 to 14, and the winning posters will be selected based on how well they express safety on the job. Entries may be submitted via mail or online.
