Nigeria Chapter PDC 2015 a Success

ASSE’s Nigeria Chapter conducted its second professional development conference and exposition, Nigeria PDC 2015, a 3-day event in Lagos, Nigeria, on March 3-5, 2015. The chapter built off of its successful first  conference held in 2014, which attracted several hundreds of OSH professionals from across Africa and the world to discuss and learn about the latest industry trends and practices. Nigeria PDC 2015 attracted even more attendees and exhibitors than the first conference. ASSE Nigeria Chapter President G. Kamil Abiodun and Chapter President Elect Rita Obayojie were instrumental in organizing the conference.

ASSE’s leadership delegation, led by ASSE President-Elect Mike Belcher and Executive Director Fred Fortman, visited and participated in the event. During the trip, the ASSE delegation also visited DeltaAfric, a world-class project delivery company with vast experience in the oil and gas, power and infrastructure and environmental sectors (jointly owned by DeltaTek Engineering Limited and WorleyParsons). ASSE is expecting a large delegation of members from Nigeria at Safety 2015 in Dallas, TX. If you are interested in meeting Nigeria members and learn more about their conference and other projects, please stop by the Global Lounge in the Convention Center during Safety 2015.
