Empathy has been recognized to be a necessary skill for the effective, well-rounded leader. In fact, many believe that empathy is more than just a soft skill that helps leaders better connect with people around them. According to Wired to Care, by Dev Patnaik, companies become successful when they tap into the power of empathy. The book’s website features an “empath-o-meter,” which lets readers rate featured companies on their level of empathy in business.
