Tell Your Story During NAOSH Week 2013

North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week, May 5-11, 2013, is the perfect time to share your story about helping workers return home to their families safe and healthy each day. This year, the week-long observance will kick off on May 5, at the National Aquarium in Washington, DC, with remarks from ASSE President Rick Pollock, CSP; Canadian Society of Safety Engineering Vice President/Treasurer Jim Hopkins; Victoriano Angüis Terrazas, president, AISOHMEX, A.C., and Joe Herrity, corporate director, security, URS.

On May 6, the Department of Labor will commemorate NAOSH Week by hosting several events, including the presentation of the inaugural Triangle Award to Jeremy Bethancourt, director of safety, health and training, LeBlanc Building Co. Inc., Phoenix, AZ, and recognition of the five age-group winners of the NAOSH Week Safety-On-The-Job kids’ poster contest. A behind-the-scenes educational tour at the National Gallery of Art will round out the festivities in DC.
