Three Members Join Cardno Staff

Three ASSE members recently accepted positions with Cardno, a professional infrastructure and environmental consultancy.

David Williamson, a member of the Central Florida Chapter with more than 8 years’ OSH experience, was promoted to health, safety and environment (HSE) director of Cardno’s Natural Resources and Health Sciences (NRHS) Division. He has been the company’s HSE East Area Lead since 2012, and has been involved in implementing HSE management systems and regulatory compliance. In his new role, he will continue to implement corporate HSE policies and integrate HSE practices, procedures and align team support.

Zachary Camarena was named HSE West Area Lead for the NRHS Division based in Concord, CA. He gained experience working with Subaru of Indiana in Lafayette and with US Steel Corp. in Gary, IN, as a student member of ASSE’s Greater Calumet Chapter. He recently earned a B.S. in Occupational Health-Industrial Hygiene and a B.S. in Environmental Health from Purdue University, Calumet.

Mark Lindley was appointed HSE North Area Lead for Cardno’s Engineering and Environmental Services Division. While working with National Oilwell Varco in Houston, TX,  and Rio Tinto in Salt Lake City, UT, Lindley was involved in hazard communication, chemical storage and related regulatory matters, and cost training. He holds a B.S. in Environmental and Occupational Health from Brigham Young University. Based in Indianapolis, IN, Lindley is a member of ASSE’s Central Indiana Chapter and a member of the Society’s Young Professionals in OSH Common Interest Group.
