Tim Page-Bottorff Named ASSE’s 2018 Safety Professional of the Year

Tim Page-Bottorff, CSP, CET, a professional member of ASSE’s Arizona and Colorado chapters, has been named ASSE’s 2018 Edgar Monsanto Queeny Safety Professional of the Year for his innovative advancements in the safety and health profession. Page-Bottorff is a senior consultant at SafeStart where he mentors new consultants, encourages employees and management through seminars and training courses, and assists in product development.

Page-Bottorff volunteers with Phoenix Children’s Museum to assist children with special needs and works with high schools to coach speech and debate teams. He also provides active shooter response classes pro bono. During his time in active duty as a U.S. Marine, Page-Bottorff and his unit worked to convert sea water to drinking water for Micronesian islands that experienced droughts. They also worked to maintain a water plant for the islands and earned the U.S. Marine Corps Humanitarian Service Medal.

Page-Bottorff serves as deputy vice president for the Council on Region Affairs, has been active in the Training and Communications Practice Specialty and previously served on the Leadership Conference Committee.

Page-Bottorff will be honored during the ASSE’s Safety 2018 General Session on Tuesday, June 5.
