Virtual Symposium Targets Cyber Safety

These days, cyber attacks can be far more than credit card fraud or hackers breaking into a business’s website. ASSE’s upcoming virtual symposium on cyber safety will discuss key information on security issues that organizations face, including ways that security can be incorporated into hardware and software through prevention, resiliency and detection/reaction methods. This includes inherent risks to data security, privacy, and issues such as workplace injuries and life safety.

The “Safety in the 21st Century” virtual symposium, scheduled for Nov. 12-13, 2015, consists of five live webcasts and one on-demand recording. They include:

Session 1: Intro to Cyber Security
Session 2: The Internet of Things
Session 3: Cyber-Safety & Cyber-Security Risk Identification & Control, Part 1
Session 4: Protecting Your Company in the Cloud—Cloud Computing Basics for the Safety Professional
Session 5: Cyber-Safety & Cyber-Security Risk Identification & Control, Part 2

All sessions will be available on-demand after they air, and the event is available for 1.0 CEUs. Visit Learn@ASSE to register for the event and for more information.
